The Room
Le Sud opened in 2002 inside the Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta — Olivier Falchi's senior Provençal-Mediterranean kitchen. Twenty-three years later the room is one of Buenos Aires's most-considered hotel-fine-dining destinations.
The dining room is intentionally formal: white linens, art-deco fixtures, the wine library along one wall.
The Food
The kitchen runs a Provençal-Mediterranean programme — bouillabaisse, the seasonal-rotating Mediterranean preparations, the chef's tasting at AR$ 78,000.
Wine programme is French and Argentine. Cocktails are aperitivi-led.
