Blanche

Blanche occupies a quiet cove in Przno, ten minutes south of Budva on the coastal road to Sveti Stefan — a working fishing village that has become, almost by accident, the Adriatic coast's most photographed boutique-dining address. The room is small: twenty-eight seats inside, another eighteen on a seafront terrace that sits almost flush with the water.

The menu is deliberately concise — six starters, six mains, three desserts — and refreshed weekly around whatever arrived that morning from the Przno boats. Mozzarella with grilled peaches and a champagne-vinegar reduction is a signature; langoustine carpaccio with Amalfi lemon and fennel pollen reads like Positano but costs a third. The black-squid risotto is the house classic — finished at the table with a splash of aged Vranac.

Desserts lean into Balkan pastry tradition reworked — a pistachio-and-rose bavarois, a lemon-olive-oil cake with wild honey ice cream. The wine list is short and curated: mostly Italian whites, a handful of natural Vranac reds, house Champagne on glass pour. Service is young, knowledgeable and unmistakably enthusiastic about the small room they work in.

The terrace at sunset faces directly west; the Adriatic lighting does the rest. Blanche books quickly by Budva standards — particularly for the six front-row terrace tables — and is worth the ten-minute drive from town. A parking attendant works the cove; call ahead if you are arriving in a taxi so they can hold a spot.

Blanche is Budva's first-date consensus — small enough to feel chosen, romantic without being theatrical, and priced so that the bill doesn't hang over the evening. The seafront terrace at sunset is the short version of why people fly into Tivat in the first place.
