About Saint James

Saint James Bora Bora is the village-French dining institution on the Vaitape Marina. The small village capital of Bora Bora, with a direct view of the Mt Otemanu volcano across the lagoon. And is the village's most reliable mid-tier French-Polynesian dining room. The restaurant runs a deliberately subtle French programme with deep Polynesian flavour sourcing.

The cuisine is contemporary French combining Polynesian flavours. Signatures include a Polynesian-tuna tartare with vanilla-passionfruit; a slow-cooked Polynesian-coconut chicken; a wood-fired Polynesian mahi-mahi; a Polynesian-vanilla lobster bisque; the famous 'tarte à la noix de coco' for the dessert course.

The wine list runs to 250 references with deep French Champagne coverage.

The dining room and marina-front terrace together hold sixty covers; the kitchen times the dessert course with the Mt Otemanu sunset.

Why It's Perfect for First Date

Saint James is the easy first-date room in Bora Bora. Quieter than Lagoon Restaurant, less formal than the resort restaurants, and the Vaitape-village setting is genuinely conversation-worthy. Book the corner two-top by the marina-front window.
