The restaurant occupies a Beirut-tavern-style dining room with the dim-lighting-and-warm-wood interior, the live-band-stage at the centre, the open-mezze-cart format, and the running Sunday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday evening live music.
The menu is the Lebanese-tavern canon. The signatures are the open-mezze spread (hummus, moutabal, fattoush, tabbouleh, kibbeh-niye, sambousek, vine leaves, manakish flatbread) — fifteen-plus small plates served around the table; the charcoal-grilled mixed-grill (shish taouk, kofta, lamb cubes); the saj-bread baked-to-order on the open dome-griddle; and the Lebanese arak-paired-with-mezze tradition. A multi-course Lebanese dinner-with-arak for two runs AED 350-500 ($95-135).
