Matt Abé, the Australian-born chef who ran Restaurant Gordon Ramsay at Royal Hospital Road through its three-star years, opened Bonheur in late 2025 and earned two Michelin stars within months — one of the fastest two-star debuts London has seen. The cooking is refined modern French built on Abé's decade at the top of the Ramsay group.
Bonheur arrived as the breakout fine-dining debut of the 2025–26 London season, instantly one of the hardest tables in Mayfair. For diners who followed Abé's work at Royal Hospital Road, it is the chance to eat his own cooking under his own name.
